This beautiful first-pick green tea grows on the volcanic soil of the Kagoshima tea region in southern Japan. It is produced using the Fukamuschicha method, in which the tea is deeply steamed after being overshadowed for 6 days after picking, resulting in a particularly intense flavour and a bright green brewed tea. After steaming, this tea is rolled, dried and roasted. This whole process gives a particularly intense, yet nuanced and full umami flavour.
The pack contains 100 grams of Natural First Flush Japan Shincha Asatsuyu. This tea is praised for its special flavour and cup colour.
