This elegant cup brings Japan to your tea moment. The sophisticated blue design was inspired by Dutch botanists who brought back new plant species from Japan centuries ago. It's all about exploring and admiring Japanese flora.
Matcha is drunk on a daily basis from a Japanese teacup, also called a Yunomi (湯のみ). And unlike our western teacups, these don't have an earpiece you hold the cup on. Because without an ear, you can better fold your hands around the porcelain and enjoy the warmth of the tea.
The beautiful blue and white design of these cups brings our Dutch Delft Blue together with the beautiful Japanese atmospheres. A match made in heaven!
