Matcha tea cup Ginkgo leaf

The Ginkgo Biloba tree is one of the oldest trees in the world. The leaves of this tree are the inspiration for the design of this beautiful, hand-painted porcelain matcha cup.

Matcha is drunk on a daily basis from a Japanese teacup, also called a Yunomi (湯のみ). And unlike our western teacups, these don't have an earpiece you hold the cup on. Because without an ear, you can better fold your hands around the porcelain and enjoy the warmth of the tea.

The beautiful blue and white design of these cups brings our Dutch Delft Blue together with the beautiful Japanese atmospheres. A match made in heaven!

The cup has a 170ml capacity and is made of high-quality porcelain.
